DNC List effective as of 7/1/2002.  CO has forwarded state DNC list information to the FTC.  List maintained by third party vendor e-InfoData.  Legislative News: SB 85 would require sellers to obtain written permission before calling those with whom they otherwise have an existing business relationship, and include calls from politicians and charities in the state DNC and other telephone solicitation rules (postponed indefinitely); HB 1125, concerning a deceptive trade practice for violations of federal law related to unsolicited faxes, passed senate 3/8/2004.

Federal and State Regulations (Laws) impose restrictions on the ability to solicit by telephone or facsimile. These regulations vary from State to State. Violation of such regulations will result in penalties and other sanctions.

Amendments, adjournment of committee, majority defeat by the legislative body and/or veto by the governor’s office, among many others, can all affect the immediate status of proposed legislation on its way to becoming law.
